Homer here was a laboratory rescue. He is a wonderful 6 year old 12 pound New Zealand White. They are the most bred rabbits, for pets, food, fur, medical, and so are very abundant. He is a handful, this guy. Rabbits are one of the more unusual pets in the was they are thought of. Most people, sadly thinking it's funny (never to someone who has a pet bunny) to make a joke of eating them. They are cute, wasted on moronic parents who think of baby bunnies as toys to be disposed of in a couple of months.
Rabbits are NOT kids pets. They are very sweet, independent walking balls of cute. Hopping balls of cute. All the rabbits, all litter box trained and fixed, know their own names just like a dog or cat. Keeping a rabbit in a pen in the back and throwing food at it, it is just another dumb animal. Think about how sad that attitude is. Rabbits are social and each one has it's own distinct personality. You stay in a pen and see what you become.
I just lost the #1 Bun, Babs. She was 10 years old. A real feisty doll of a bunny. Babs had a bonded boyfriend named Binky. We got the name Babs from Tiny Toons Adventures cartoon series and Binky from the cartoon, "Life in Hell" by Matt Groening, the creator of The Simpsons. Binky was a small guy who knew how to 'smooth' Babs to mellow point. What a lover! This picture shows Babs in 'bliss bunny' mode, upside-down with Binky by her side. Kinda like a Bunny orgasm!
